School Developments Good For Burpengary

By Jason Dunne

The Queensland government has enacted plans to provide 10 new schools across the Queensland region, including a new high school in Burpengary.  This could be great news for those interested in houses for sale in Burpengary or the surrounding suburbs.

Construction began on the first of these schools in Pimpama earlier this month (February 14), with Education, Training and Employment Minister John-Paul Langbroek highlighting the overall plan for the rest of the state.

“Today marks the beginning of an exciting five-year construction project to build ten schools in population growth spots, for more than 10,000 students, 500 teachers and 130 non-teaching staff,” said Mr Langbroek in a February 14 statement.

“The Newman government is working with the private sector to deliver the school facilities our communities desperately need, while saving hardworking Queenslanders’ taxpayer dollars and creating around 1,700 jobs annually.”

He went on to say the development of infrastructure, such as schools, across the state will help to ensure Queensland remains ahead of the curve when it comes to future generations. This could be encouraging news, especially for anyone interested in home loans in Burpengary for property investment or occupation purposes.
