Increased numbers of new homes sold in October

By James Brown

The latest report from the Housing Industry Association (HIA) has highlighted the growth in new home sales seen across Australia over October. This could be encouraging news for first home buyers interested in securing their own Burpengary real estate in the coming months.

The New Home Sales Report recorded a 3 per cent increase in the number of new homes sold during October, following a relatively flat month of activity in September. HIA chief economist Harley Dale said that after the sharp decline in sales seen in July, these figures offer confidence for those looking towards the market for real estate in the near future.

"Sales are still off their cyclical peak reached back in April this year, but the overall volume of new home sales is still at an elevated level. That augurs well for healthy new home construction activity persisting into 2015," said Mr Dale in a 27 November statement.

Now could be the time to begin looking into the Burpengary market for real estate that suits your needs. Get in touch with a local real estate agent in Burpengary to start investigating the brand new or existing properties in the area.
