Find your ideal job when moving to Burpengary

By James Brown

Being able to secure that ideal job when you move into property in Burpengary could be easier than ever, as figures show a rise in advertised positions across the country.

The latest ANZ Job Ads Series points to a 1.3 per cent increase in roles being promoted in January, making it the eighth month in a row that a rise has been registered.

You're probably more likely to find your dream role online than in your local newspaper, however, as ANZ revealed a 1.5 per cent month-on-month rise in internet advertisements.

Newspaper ads, on the other hand, were down 6.7 per cent on figures recorded in December.

ANZ chief economist Warren Hogan said: "The eighth consecutive monthly rise in ANZ job ads is an encouraging sign that new labour demand continues to improve in certain sectors of the Australian economy."

He said the gap between job ads and unemployment now needs to be addressed if more people are going to find themselves in jobs over the coming months.
