Will the new Moreton Bay Rail Link result in higher rentals?

The connection to the Redcliffe Peninsula will open in October 2016.  It will provide 650 services between Kippa-Ring and Brisbane each week, with stops at Rothwell, Mango Hill, Murrumba Downs and Kallangur  reports Nigel Lucas of Ray White Caboolture and Burpengary rental department.

This new service will add further attraction to the Moreton Bay Region, which is already the third largest local government area in Australia behind Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The Moreton Bay Region, with a population of over 417,000, is the fastest growing community on the Eastern Seaboard.

With the increased population, there has been a corresponding rise in rentals by 3.1% for Units and 4.3% for Houses.  The Industry average time to rent out properties has also increased by 4.2% and vacancies overall have increased to 2.5%.
